SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8

After two weeks away, we hope to worship in our sanctuary this weekend.  I'm sure we will be toasty warm!

Fellowship together with our church family always enhances our worship experience.  Plan to be together on Sunday!

Our scripture is Matthew 4: 12-23 and will be read by Pat Lovell.  The flowers will be shared by the Lovells too.  Thank you!

 

FEBRUARY 7 6:00AM

Join the group headed to Burnsville, NC to deliver Brunswick Stew.  Meet at the church at 6:00am and return on Saturday evening.  Get to meet Miss Claudia in person!  Want to go?  Let Jay or Gerald know. Carpooling available.

 

HIM BREAKFAST

February 15  9:00am - All the fixings for a delicious breakfast and we will continue to plan for the coming year.   Ideas welcome!

 

ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE

Ash Wednesday asks us to be aware and repentant of the sins we all commit.  At this service, ashes will be used to show the sin in our lives. The event  symbolizes Christ's return to Jerusalem after spending 40 days of trial in the desert.  This is also the first day of Lent.  It should remind us of our sin and our need for God in our lives.  The service is at 6:00pm on February 18.

 

HISTORY MAKEKERS MODULE

February 23-25  Mebane NC    Register to become a part of the Global Methodiest Training  , and training institute hosted ty the Southern Circle of GMC  This is a look at discipleship, biblical training that helps everyday believers build disciples
