Helena Happenings August 30th, 2026
SUNDAY AUGUST 23
A beautiful Sunday morning! The children's message reminded us that when we are hurt we think bandaids or medicine will make it better. Both are tools that may help our feelings, but the real healing of the hurt is from God. Jesus, God's son, allowed himself to be hurt for us by accepting our sin and the cross. Jesus is the true Healer. He has overcome the world!
Pastor Marty reminded us that we belong to God and the skills and talents we possess are given to glorify Him. We strengthen each other when we fully give ourselves to others and to God. Giving ourselves away should be a daily walk for us!
Our attendance in worship was 57 and the offering was $8799.
