On Saturday, March 28, Helena Methodist Church of Timberlake will hold a benefit with all proceeds going to our continued mission to support the WNC Helene Hurricane victims. $10 per quart of stew (Alpha-Gal diet approved) $11 per pound of Whole Hog BBQ $10 per 8 oz. container of homemade pimento cheese (Pimento cheese only available on 3/28-no preorders). Preorders are available for stew & BBQ only and are encouraged by March 23—call 336.364.8491 and leave a message with your name and amount you want to purchase. Payment via cash or check.
FILL THE TRAILER An opportunity to fill the trailer will also be available. The following items are needed: Cases of water, canned food, paper goods, etc. No clothing will be accepted. Claudia Honeycutt, Yancey County businesswoman and lifelong resident of Western NC, will present an overview of the ongoing Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Yancey County at 6:00PM…
